Morocco’s Salima El Ouali Alami has broken the 300- meters Steeplechase record of the Brazilian athletics grand prix, “Caixa Sesi.”
She made a time of 9minutes 44.09 seconds beating the former 9:49.42 record set last year by Ethiopia’s Almaz Ayana.
The silver medal of this year’s edition went to the Ethiopian Bekle Mekdes (9:55.70) and the bronze to
Kenya’s Christine Muyanga (9:57.69).
