Kasbah Resources builds on tin Resource at Achmmach
Kasbah Resources has intersected a new, unexpected zone of high grade mineralization indicating a new tin lode at its Achmmach Tin Project in Morocco. Importantly, new high grade tin intercepts at the Gap Zone are outside the current 2012 Resource model.
Notable assays include 24 meters at 1.21% tin from 296 meters including 7 meters at 2.02% tin, 31.1 meters at 1.54% tin from 223 meters including 17 meters at 2.13% tin and 5 meters at 3.18% tin and 8 meters at 1.74% tin from 339 meters. Section 2410mE is the first of five 40 meter infill sections planned for this area of the Meknes Trend mineralization. The infill drilling program extends for about 400 meters of strike from the last drilled section of the 2010 Resource estimate model in the west to a section of the new 2012 Resource model.Kasbah is working to upgrade this area of the Resource to the higher confidence Indicated category. The Meknes Trend is currently defined by drilling for about 1,160 meters and is open in both directions along strike and at depth. The new tin lode requires further drilling down dip to define its true extent.Achmmach is a sizeable tin project with a growing tin resource. There is potential to link the resources in the west to resources in the east. Exploration is moving forward at pace with five diamond rigs active which will continue with infill and extensional drilling of the Meknes Trend.Kasbah recently delivered an upgrade to the Achmmach Resource of 150% to 14.6 million tonnes at 0.9% tin for 135,000 tonnes of contained tin. This comprises an Indicated Resource of 5.3 million tonnes at 0.8% tin for 42,000 tonnes and an Inferred Resource of 9.3 million tonnes at 1% tin for 93,000 tonnes.Source – Proactiveinvestors.com.au(www.steelguru.com)
