ITJ Afriqiyah flying to Casablanca and Dusseldorf 21.The Libyan carrier Afriqiyah Airways is commencing a thrice-weekly service between Tripoli and Casablanca (Morocco) today (21 November). Shortly after the launch of this new connection, Afriqiyah will resume its Tripoli-Dusseldorf (Germany) link on 3 December. The flights, which have been suspended since February 2011, will be operated twice per week according to Dusseldorf airport. Plans have also been forged for a direct connection from Bengasi, Libya’s second largest city, to Dusseldorf. www.afriqiyah.aero
