Morocco, Italy Willing To Foster Their Economic Ties

Rome  –  Morocco and Italy are willing to further boost their economic cooperation, Minister of Industry, Trade and New Tchnologies Abdelkader Amara said on Tuesday in Rome.

In a statement to MAP on the sidelines of a conference on the investment opportunities in Morocco, Amara highlighted the firm and longstanding relations between the two countries.

The two countries aspire to bring trade to 24 billion dirhams, said Amara, underscoring the importance of such a conference that aims at showcasing Morocco’s investment opportunities and business climate and sector-oriented strategies.

On this occasion, Amara invited Italian enterprises to grab investment opportunities offered in Morocco as part of a win-win partnership that will enable medium-sized businesses to foster their competitiveness at the international level.

On the sidelines of the conference, an office of the Moroccan investments promotion agency (AMDI) was inaugurated in Rome.
