Guatemala City – President of the Republic of Guatemala, Otto Pérez Molina, hailed the positive democratic momentum that Morocco sees under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI.
Receiving on Monday in Guatemala City Moroccan Minister Delegate to the Foreign Minister, Youssef Amrani, Guatemalan President welcomed regular consultations and coordination that the two countries keep within the U.N. Security Council.
For his part, Amrani, who conveyed to the President of Guatemala a message of friendship from HM King Mohammed VI, reviewed the relations between the two countries, ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in several areas of common interest, as well as multilateral and international issues.
Amrani informed the President of Guatemala of Morocco’s desire to explore new areas in order to consolidate ties with Guatemala, particularly in regard to political partnership on the basis of solidarity, shared prosperity and enhancement of national potential and human resources.
