London – EU-Morocco Agriculture Agreement will bring significant economic gains for both parties, British Foreign Secretary William Hague affirmed after a meeting with Moroccan Minister Delegate for Foreign Affairs Youssef Amrani in New York.

“The UK is a firm advocate of free trade and we believe that the proposed EU-Morocco Agriculture Agreement will bring significant economic gains for both parties”, he said.

“I also expressed my support for Morocco as it deepens its already strong relationship with the European Union”, Hague added, noting that “it is important that the EU recognizes reform in partner countries, including through offering meaningful market access and closer economic integration”.
