Peru invites King of Morocco to take part in III ASPA Summit

Morocco, Feb. 02 (ANDINA). Peruvian Minister of Foreign Affairs Rafael Roncagliolo paid an official visit to Morocco and handed over the invitation letter to his counterpart Saad Dine El Otmani so that King Mohammed VI takes part in the Third Summit of South American-Arab Countries (ASPA) to take place from September 26 to 28 in Lima.Said letter was addressed by Peruvian President Ollanta Humala to the Moroccan head of State, reported the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During a working meeting held at Morocco’s Chancellery, Foreign Minister Saad Dine El Otmani offered the support of his government to achieve a high participation rate of the Arab countries in the ASPA Summit.

Moreover, both ministers discussed topics of the bilateral, regional and international agenda, and both agreed to continue strengthening their relations in political, social, economic, cooperation and cultural topics.

Minister Roncagliolo also highlighted the Peruvian interest so that Moroccan entrepreneurs join the official delegation which will attend the ASPA summit so that they can take part in the entrepreneurial forum to be held in Lima.

The Peruvian minister noted that said visit will continue strengthening the trade and economic relations between both countries.
