Disapproved of both sides and forced into a corner, when the wind of change blowing across the whole region, because of the “troubles” and actions of its members, the Polisario seeks to hide its failures repetitive cope with changes in the Kingdom, in the consolidation of democracy and socio-economic development conducted briskly.
The Polisario has organized a 11th Congress to renew a 11th time in his head the only candidate despite dissenting voices who do not want that the Polisario is their only representative. The congress was attended by the unwavering support to his cause: Algeria that houses and is his mentor, Cuba and South Africa’s last remaining supporters. Spanish political parties, the PP and PSOE have declined his offer to participate in this great Mascardi. The last congress of the “Polisario” was held for the sole purpose of renewing his “direction” proclaimed the immovable Abdelaziz Marrakchi. Jeune Afrique said here that: The re-election as head of Mohamed Abdelaziz of the Polisario separatist movement is Worth recording in the Guinness Book of Records. We do not know on which program the Secretary General of the movement was elected with a score river! Judge for yourself:
The rally hard the “Polisario” to ties of the deposed regime of Muammar Gaddafi and sending his mercenaries to fight the revolutionary shows to more than one reason, his teaching and support for dictatorial despots, which it is the emanation. Such a position has been brought to light after the victory of law in Libya by leaders of the National Transitional Council (CNT)
The Polisario, which claims to be the “sole representative” of the Sahrawi population, tries to keep the title of recipendiaire humanitarian donations and hosts in the camps it manages, NGO workers who are supporting him. After the numerous hijackings of humanitarian aid that have been identified by independent observers, the Polisario has embarked on a far more lucrative business, the removal of human beings: The kidnapping last October of three Western aid in camps of Tindouf in southwestern Algeria, is the most eloquent illustration of the involvement of “Polisario”, whose 11 members are linked directly or indirectly to the kidnapping were arrested. The “Polisario”, which continues to proclaim his innocence and denies any involvement of its members in the kidnapping, argues, however, be the sole repository of security in the camps. Security appears to be enhanced only to monitor and control freedom of movement of the sequestered populations of the camps of shame in the territory of Algeria, the Polisario camps that denies all access to the UNHCR for the CENSUS to these populations.
The involvement of the Polisario found in many hard drug trafficking in the Sahel-Saharan Region against the backdrop of settling scores between rival gangs left no informed observers indifferent to the Polisario abuses mafia.
And finally a relationship with the terrorist organization al Qaeda in Islamic Maghreb with which the Polisario has embarked on arms trafficking and to which elements of the Polisario rallied by the Sahara-sahalian region, a new Afghanistan and a new outbreak of insurgency.
The truth about this pseudo liberation movement turned to face the world.
Thus, Morocco’s proposal to grant the southern provinces considerable autonomy within the framework of sovereignty enabling people to manage their own affairs, has generated enthusiasm among the people of the Sahara and hope to the sequestered camps Tindouf, thirsty for freedom and a decent life as their homeland, Morocco is able to offer them as part of an advanced regionalization.
The proposal of autonomy proposed by Morocco has received significant support from the United Kingdom through its most representative institutions.
Sahara : London Welcomes the Moroccan initiative, Morocco confirmed its serious efforts to settle the Sahara issue
The serious and credible efforts made by Morocco to settle the Sahara issue were welcomed in Britain, where the Polisario mercenaries continue to wipe serious setbacks.
If the coalition government led by the Conservative Party continued to support UN efforts to reach a mutually acceptable political solution, the British Parliament has stressed its adherence to the autonomy initiative presented by Morocco in order to permanently close a record that continues to undermine the integration process in the region of North Africa.
In a report prepared for the legislative elections, held on November 25 in Morocco, the House of Commons (lower house of parliament at Westminster) stressed that “Morocco has proposed a serious initiative to advance the negotiations ( on the Sahara issue), offering autonomy to the territory under Moroccan sovereignty. “
In support of its position, the House of Commons said that Peter van Walsum, personal envoy of former UN Secretary General for the Sahara issue, concluded in 2009 that “independence was not a realistic option” to resolve the issue.
The British Parliament stressed that the government of Prime Minister David Cameron, while supporting the efforts of UN Secretary General and his Personal Envoy to reach a “negotiated political solution,” considers the autonomy plan presented by Morocco as “a serious and credible contribution to these efforts.”
In United States of America, a financial assistance program for all “regions and territories administered by Morocco, including Sahara” was approved by the U.S. Congress.
The US Congress whose House of Representatives is dominated by Republicans majority and the Senate is dominated by Democrats majority voted the text, which brought together legislators from both parties on its formulation, giving a new impetus to the proposal of autonomy proposed by the Kingdom of Morocco.
The President signed last Friday the bill for the reforms undertaken by Morocco, especially in the Sahara region.
The Sahara issue is indeed a priority in the agenda of U.S. foreign policy.
The solution proposed by the United States with respect to resolving the conflict in Western Sahara based primarily on “autonomy under Moroccan sovereignty.”
Sahara : US FY2012 Omnibus Appropriations Bill : Part of report on F2012 Aid to Morocco
“(Morocco) The Committee notes that funds provided in title III of this Act for Morocco may be used in any region or territory administered by Morocco. The Committee remains concerned about resolving the dispute over the Western Sahara and urges the State Department to prioritize a negotiated settlement and should consider the Moroccan autonomy plan.”
It remains to Morocco, at the approach of his accession for two years term on the board of the UN Security Council as a non-permanent member from January 2012, to demonstrate the correctness of his cause and to practice his bold initiative autonomy to its southern provinces.
