The men’s quarter finals for the ongoing African Nations Handball Championship were played yesterday in Rabat (Morocco).
Tunisia’s handball national team defeated Cameroon’s by 26-16.Egypt held Senegal by 31-19 while the Democratic Republic of Congo was disqualified by Algeria 33-31. In the most competitive encounter between the host and Angola, Morocco eliminated its counterpart by a very light score of 24-22.
The semi finals of the championship will be played next Tuesday January 19 as follows:
Algeria Vs Egypt
Tunisia Vs Morocco
The final is due on Friday, January 20; but quarter final matches in the ladies’ category continue today.
