SGS has recently established a consumer testing laboratory in Casablanca, the largest garment manufacturing city in Morocco. The newly ISO 17025 accredited laboratory is equipped with advanced and cutting edge facilities, including GS-MS, HPLC-MS suites, to provide quality testing services for companies complying with international standards and regulations.
The presence of the SGS laboratory in Morocco will contribute and strengthen the local apparel industry’s ability to meet buyers’ expectations through shortening of production lead time. Currently, SGS Morocco is the first laboratory in the country offering both physical and chemical testing for a comprehensive range of textile products. In addition to testing, SGS Morocco offers audit and inspection services, making us a one-stop testing service provider in Morocco. As a result, SGS Morocco will play a vital role in further developing businesses for nearby consumer countries such as France, Spain, UK, Germany, etc.
