The number of visitors to tourist attractions in Morocco rose by 4% in 2013, while the category increased in current value by 2%.
Tourist attractions is expected to increase in value at a CAGR of 3% in constant 2013 terms over the forecast period, while the number of visitors to Morocco’s expected to increase at a CAGR of 5% over the forecast period.
As Morocco is expected to become a major destination for inbound tourists in North Africa at some point during the forecast period, the country’s tourist attractions are expected to welcome a growing number of visitors, especially from new relatively new source countries such as Russia and China as many people living in these countries are expected to experience increases in their purchasing power over the forecast period.
