The Global Environment Fund (GEF) granted Morocco on Wednesday a total of 6.44 million dollars for the implementation of soil conservation and biodiversity measures by small farmers.
Moroccan Agricultural Development Agency said in a statement that the donation will cover eight projects in central Morocco and in the south.
The statement added that these projects will be financed for the implementation of soil conservation and biodiversity measures by small farmers, in cooperation between Morocco, the International Bank, and GEF.
