Energy, natural resources, tourism, telecommunications and global financial integration are some of the topics to be discussed at the Crans Montana Forum conference held Thursday through Saturday, March 14 in Dakhla, Western Sahara, Morocco.
Entitled “Africa, regional and South-South cooperation”, the brings together 500 heads of state, ministers and former ministers, diplomats, NGOs and companies. Topics of discussion will effective management of natural resources in Africa and the development of green energy, integration of the African financial sector with the world, tourism as a source of economic development; telecommunications and ICT in Africa in the networks world communication, social responsibility of African women, and prevention of cross-border public health threats.
According to organizers, Dakhla was chosen for its strategic location and because it offers a unique model of economic and social development, as it is the hub in an important African region. (ANSAmed).
