Fairmont Taghazout Bay, Morocco announces 1st. April 2021 opening date and reveals property features

TAGHAZOUT – Due to open on the 1st of April 2021, Fairmont Taghazout Bay is set to become the new social nexus of the region for luxury clients within the leisure sector. The resort will house a wide range of distinctive features and destination activities designed to reflect the surrounding nature and local culture and cater to both the consumer and the corporate luxury hospitality industries.

Francis Desjardins, Fairmont Taghazout Bay’s General Manager Comments: “We are thrilled to be welcoming guests in April and showcase the beautiful resort and destination, which remains unknown to many. Taghazout Bay’s breath-taking coastline of over two miles of beaches will introduce its guests to an authentic Moroccan destination throughout multiple active and wellbeing offers”.

Located 17km north of Agadir, the property features 150 spacious suites and 52 very high standing villas with sea views, a state of art spa, a Teen’s Club with athletic outdoor activities, and a tech free Kids Club to encourage real interaction between children. It also offers a variety of gourmet experiences, all graced by stunning 180-degree ocean views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Following the rise of the needs of the new travellers in a post pandemic world, the resort developed on over 8 acres features spacious common areas, detached villas and facilities created with the clear aim to balance the duty of care with the luxury experience expected in a holiday destination. Fairmont Taghazout Bay, is also part of the #ALLSAFE protocol and follows the stringent cleaning standards and operational procedures developed by Accor.
