EU Foreign Affairs Chief Federica Mogherini will visit Morocco for the first time on Tuesday 21 July to hold meetings with government officials, members of Parliament and civil society.
The aim of the visit is to discuss the dynamics of EU-Morocco partnership and to examine various cooperation areas such as trade, migration, security and climate change.
The discussions will also address the state of play of the reform programme implemented by Morocco and the EU’s political and financial support to these reforms. The ENP review and Morocco’s contribution will also be discussed.
Several regional issues of common interest such as the situation in Libya, the Sahel and the Middle East will also be on the agenda. (EU Neighbourhood Info)
