Moroccan King Mohammad VI and visiting King Juan Carlos I of Spain on Tuesday voiced satisfaction with the tangible development of bilateral economic, political, cultural and security relations over recent years, according to a royal statement.
Both leaders said they shared the same interests and aspirations for both nations, said the statement released following their meeting.
Morocco and Spain, which have deep historical ties, enjoy varied relations within the framework of a dynamic partnership and strong potential, it said.
Both leaders called on their governments and various stakeholders to shore up joint initiatives for tapping available investment opportunities in each other, it added.
They hoped that both sides’ institutions, parliaments and civil society could share ongoing efforts to build a better joint future, the royal statement noted.
