UAE Ambassador to Morocco Al Asari Saeed Al Dhahiri, has launched the Ramadan Iftar Programme 2013 under the theme: Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Campaign, amid the presence of the Embassy staff, local officials and heads of beneficiary charity societies and media.
Donated by His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the iftar programme 2013 in Morocco is a humanitarian programme allocated by the UAE to the needy people across Morocco.
Al Dhahiri expressed his hope about the continuation of such a fraternal cooperation that reflects the depth of distinguished relations between the two countries led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco.
He reiterated that the campaign was launched in coordination with the local authorities to help the needy categories in Morocco.
Over 23, 000 Moroccan families across the kingdom benefit from this humanitarian programme, which provides flour, sugar, oil, rice, tea, coffee, milk, tomatoes, lentils, chickpeas, noodles and jam.
