OLYMPIC cycling hero Sir Chris Hoy got an electrifying wake-up call – when he touched a live wire.
The Scot hit the cable by accident after an epic journey to Morocco.
He tweeted: “After a 10hr drive last night, we got here. Blew away the cobwebs this morning by touching a live wire. Better than coffee!”
Sir Chris, 36, added: “Do not try it at home, kids.”
The six-times gold medal winner also revealed that during the trip his convoy overtook a double-decker truck full of cows on a blind bend through mountains.
