RABAT (Reuters) – Morocco’s state grains agency ONICL launched on Thursday a tender to buy 185,000 tonnes of soft wheat from the local harvest, a few days after authorities axed a custom duty on imports of the commodity.
ONICL will open the bids on Oct 11. The soft wheat is destined to make subsidized flour, ONICL added in a statement. (Reporting By Souhail Karam; Editing by Alison Birrane)
