It was announced that the Moroccan team “Viva Morocco” won’t be attending the 2012 edition of GameGune, that will kick off this upcoming Thursday.
The African representative team, Viva Morocco won’t be attending the Spanish event that starts this Thursday and will continue until July 29th. The reason for the team to skip the tournament was that two members were denied visa applications from the Spanish embassy in Morocco.
The original lineup of the team consists of two players residing in France, one in Spain and two in Morocco. As the two players residing in Morocco were denied their visa for Spain, and the other three players were unable to find replacements to complete the lineup, the team decided to drop the attendance to the tournament.
With Viva Morocco out of GameGune, the group B only has three teams, Natus Vincere , x6tence and Karont3 . It is not known yet if the organizers of the event will replace the Moroccan squad with a team from the Euskal Encounter as seen previous years.
