Hot on the heels of its Australian distribution agreement, Sound Leisure has signed another distribution deal with Led’s Play, based in Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco.

Sound Leisure

Led’s Play is the first company in Morocco to specialise in selling retro-styled designer entertainment products such as jukeboxes, turntables, specialist phones and lighting. The company was founded last year by Ibrahim Bahechar, who was previously a financial analyst at one of Morocco’s top investment banks.

He said: “With popular models such as the Rocket 88 and 1015 being held in stock we believe that we have fantastic opportunities for Sound Leisure’s range of jukeboxes that are renowned worldwide for their high quality finish, attractive designs and variety of customisation options.

“We are therefore very excited to promote and commercialise them as our top-of-the-range products and look forward to tying a new bond between the UK and Morocco.”

Sound Leisure’s Chris Black commented: “Our classic division has had a fantastic start to 2013 and this latest deal with Ibrahim is really exciting as it is a region that we have never previously sold into. We wish Ibrahim all the best with his new venture and look forward to working closely with him to promote the Classic range throughout the region.”
