The European low-cost airline Ryanair announced, Friday, the resumption of its operations for the 20/21 winter in Morocco.
With the continued return of air traffic, suspended temporarily due to restrictions related to the “Covid-19” epidemic.
Ryanair announced in a statement that, starting from October 25, it will return a total of 58 weekly flights on 45 routes to Belgium, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Spain and Portugal.
She explained that the resumption of these operations will be framed by a new set of health measures in place to protect its customers and crews, calling on European travelers to visit “this wonderful jewel of North Africa, by going to Agadir, Essaouira, Fez, Nador, Oujda, Marrakesh, Rabat and Tangiers.”
The same statement quoted Ryanair’s commercial director, Jason McGuinness, as saying, “We are pleased to support the Moroccan tourism sector by securing flights, again, from eight Moroccan airports,” announcing on the occasion of this return a special price offer available on the company’s website.
For his part, the Director General of the Moroccan National Tourist Office, Adel El Fakir, said that he is happy to receive the news of the return of “Ryanair” to Morocco, after a long period of government restrictions imposed on travel.
The Ryanair statement quoted the Director General of the Moroccan National Tourist Office as saying that “thanks to our exceptional relationship with (Ryanair) we have agreed together to reconnect our various destinations with the main European markets, and we aim to reach more foreign markets with the company.
Thanks to this partnership, he added, “international visitors will have the opportunity to re-enjoy the diversity, richness and unique experiences that Morocco offers.”
