Obama invites king of Morocco for visit

Baku-APA.U.S. President Barack Obama on Thursday invited King of Morocco Mohammed to visit Washington for discussions on regional security issues.
The White House said the two leaders reaffirmed the “historic” relationship between their countries over a phone talk and discussed deepening bilateral cooperation, especially on regional security issues of mutual concern.

“The president invited King Mohammed to Washington and said he looked forward to continuing their conversation in person,” the White House said in a statement.

Washington sees Morocco as a “strong partner” in its counterterrorism efforts.
