Nora Fatehi is enjoying a global following surge thanks to the popularity of the ‘Dilbar’ song from ‘Satyameva Jayate’. Having made a solid mark with John Abraham’s action-thriller from last year, the Canadian actress had kicked off her career with Roar (2014) where Salman Khan helped kick the film off. She later marked her debut in Telugu film industry by signing for a dance number in ‘Temper’.
However, her popularity grew on a much larger scale with her dance number in ‘Baahubali’. Since then, there has been no looking back. After having appeared in two solo songs with Hardy Sandhu and Raftaar respectively, her song in ‘Rocky Handsome’ made all the right noise and Nora immediately became everyone’s favourite.
The fact that she hails from Canada with Moroccan roots makes her fan base even stronger in two different countries. Nora, who celebrates her birthday today, decided to level it up and produced and sang the Arabic version of ‘Dilbar’ for her Arab fans, too. For a personality who is already famous in India and in her home country Canada, her popularity in UAE and Middle East has also seen a massive growth due to the ‘Dilbar’ craze.
Interestingly, the fact that she belongs to a Moroccan family also makes her a huge hit in Morocco.
