London (Platts) – Moroccan state-owned generator Office National de l’Electricite (ONE) has launched a spot tender for 180,000 mt of thermal coal for its Mohammedia power station.
The utility is seeking three Panamax cargoes of coal with a minimum net calorific value of 5,900 kcal/kg, maximum 1.5% sulfur and 15% ash for delivery between March and May on a CIF Jorf Lasfar basis.
The deadline for bids is February 1.
Next week, ONE will close another tender for three 38,000 mt thermal coal cargoes for February-April delivery on a CIF Nador basis for its Jerada plant in the north of Morocco.
