Morocco’s annual inflation rate was 1.8 percent in January, the High Planning Commission said on Thursday.

It did not give a comparable figure for the previous month in a statement.

Annual food price inflation was 2.2 percent in January, while non-food inflation was 1.3 percent over the 12 months, the data showed.
