Morocco ratifies law on hospitals funded by UAE

Rabat: The Government of Morocco has ratified a law pertaining to two projects to build the Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Rabat and the Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital in Casablanca.

Minister of Communications and Spokesperson of the Moroccan government, Mustapha El Khalfi, said the two projects were aimed at enhancing the healthcare services and medical education in the kingdom of Morocco, as well as providing free treatment to poor people.

It is worth noting that a grant of $100 million was offered by the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to build the Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Hospital in Casablanca.
