Morocco has partnered with EON Reality, the world leader in Virtual Reality, and the USAID, to launch its first Interactive Digital Center (IDC).

Located on Mohammed VI Polytechnic University’s campus in Ben Guerir, the new IDC will provide Augmented and Virtual Reality (AVR) technology, solutions, and products to Morocco’s growing digital transformation of the academic, industrial, and government sectors.

In addition to USAID, EON Reality has teamed up with organizations such as Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, Agency for Digital Development, Mohammed V University in Rabat, the Moroccan Ministry of Industry, Investment, Trade and Digital Economy, and the Moroccan Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research to make the IDC a reality.

Together, the seven partners will help to shape Morocco’s technological revolution as they share AVR solutions to transform education and training in Morocco.

Aside from the hardware and technology available at the IDC itself, the spread of the AVR Platform across Morocco will help to train the next generation of AVR professionals. Through a close collaboration with professors and academic experts, the IDC will also design and adapt AVR learning applications and solutions for universities and various vocational training centers.
