Morocco on Thursday (March 28th) wrapped up a 2-day workshop aimed at strengthening the human rights component of the fight against HIV/AIDS. Participants at the Rabat event focused on ways to provide care for HIV with “zero discrimination”.

The National Human Rights Council (CNDH) organised the meeting, in partnership with the United Nations, the National AIDS Control Programme (PNLS) and other bodies.

By 2016, Morocco aims to reduce new HIV infections by 50% and reduce the mortality rate by 60%.
