Morocco and Guinea-Bissau agreed on Thursday in Rabat to boost bilateral cooperation in the fields of education, agriculture, health, infrastructure and training.
During a meeting between Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Bourita, and his Guinea-Bissau counterpart Suzi Barbosa, the two ministers agreed to foster coordination in regional and international organizations, such as the African Union and the United Nations.
Morocco has decided to increase the number of scholarships granted to Bissau-Guinean students, said Bourita in a press briefing after the talks.
Morocco will continue to support Guinea-Bissau’s effort in the implementation of its socio-economic development projects as well as in the consolidation of peace and stability in the country, Bourita added.
For her part, Barbosa, described Morocco as a “historic partner,” and welcomed the efforts it continues to make for its stability. Enditem
