Marrakech – The Third International meeting on security in Africa, “Marrakech Security Forum”, will be held on January 20-12 under the theme “issues and repercussions of transitions in North Africa”.
The event, held by the Moroccan Center for Strategic Studies in partnership with the African Federation for Strategic Studies, will bring together over 150 participants, including high ranking military officials, representatives of international organizations and experts from around 60 countries.
Issues pertaining to the geopolitical developments that took place in North Africa in 2011, arms proliferation, cocaine and instability in Africa, changes in strategic alliances in North Africa as well as regional integration will be examined during the meeting.
