Kuwaiti chief lawmaker Ali Al-Rashid on Sunday departed Armenia, accompanied by a parliamentary delegation, on his way to Morocco, the second stop of a tour that also includes Algeria.
Speaking to KUNA, Al-Rashed expressed Kuwait’s appreciation and admiration of Morocco, which he said supports Kuwait’s urgent issues and continues to do so.
He praised the diplomatic relations between both countries, he described as “historic” and which stretch to over half a century.
The Kuwaiti lawmaker also commended Moroccan King Mohamed VI’s widescale reforms, he said were conducted over a period of two years. These include constitutional amendments, agreed by 98pct of the people in a referendum.
“The King’s efforts are a cause for international reverence,” he underlined.
