HM King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to Moroccan writer, Fouad Laoui, who won on Tuesday the French prestigious Goncourt literary prize.
The sovereign stresses that the reward «crowns a distinguished literary career and comes as a recognition of your creativity in writing».

The Goncourt academy announced on Tuesday that the Moroccan novelist and short-story writer, won France’s prestigious Goncourt prize for his short story “L’étrange affaire du pantalon de Dassoukine”.
