Rabat – The parties of the upcoming government coalition signed, on Friday in Rabat, the charter of the majority.The charter was signed by the General Secretaries of the Justice and Development Party (PJD), the Istiqlal Party (PI), the Popular Movement (MP) and the Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS).
In a statement to the press, the incoming head of government, Abdelilah Benkirane, said the four majority parties have agreed on the signing of a common charter as well as the structure of the new government.
Discussions on the portfolios that will be allocated to each of the four parties will take place at two meetings, to be scheduled later, said Benkirane.
