With recent weather masquerading as spring, you’re probably craving some color to explode the grays of a long, dry winter. The Salt Lake Gallery Stroll on Friday, March 16 is an opportunity to show the cones in your eyeballs a good time.
More than 20 galleries are showing affordable one-of-a-kind art from local designers, artisans and artists. It’s impossible to hit all the galleries in the hike that stretches to the far edges of Salt Lake City, but here are five downtown stops worth making.

Art Access, 230 S. 500 West »Sculptor and jewelry maker Ric Blackerby is showing “Insectsual.” works based on the beauty of insects, which inspire his metallic sculpture and jewelry design.
