Rabat – French Foreign Trade Minister Nicole Bricq expressed, on Thursday in Rabat, her country’s willingness to further develop trade with Morocco, underscoring the close ties between the two countries.
France is willing to participate in Morocco’s economic development through launching common projects, Bricq said following talks with Head of the Government Abdelilah Benkirane.
She said that Morocco’s progress will have a beneficial impact on France.
The French official added that her visit to Morocco aims to examine the progress in already launched common projects as well as to prospect new areas of cooperation notably in fields relating to renewable.
Bricq visit, the first to be paid by a minister following the formation of a new government in France, is part of preparations for the high level meeting between the heads of the French and the Moroccan government, due by the end of the current year.
