Cities in the Yemeni southern part were object this midnight of bombardments from the group of Arab countries in the continuation of a crisis without signs to decline, despite of the announcements of cessation of operations.

Bombings, led by Saudi Arabia and backed by the air-force of Bahrain, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, Sudan, Jordan and Morocco, have caused between one and two thousand victims, according to contrasting reports without independent confirmation.

Huti tribe media, allied with troops in favor of former president, Ali Abdullah Saleh, claimed that there would not be political arrangements of the crisis without the intention of the attacks, which entered its fifth week.

The UN mediation is at a hold waiting for the appointment of a new special envoy to Yemen, replacing Moroccan Jamal Binomar, vetoed by the countries of the Arabian Peninsula, who would be replaced by Mauritanian, Ismail Ould Cheikh.

The attacks have not changed the military situation, characterized by the control of the huti Ansar Allah movement and its allies from most of the country, which increases the risk of a ground penetration.

In the early hours of today’s aircraft from the countries led by Saudi Arabia bombed Aden, the country’s second city, Taiz, both in the south; Marib, downtown, and Hodeida, west, with a death toll still unknown.
