The two-day visit of Moroccan Foreign Minister Saâd Eddine El Othmani, due on Monday, to Algiers aims to “reinforce friendship and cooperation ties” between the two countries, spokesman for the Algerian Foreign Ministry said on Sunday.
The spokesman was quoted by the APS news agency as saying that the visit is part of “the constructive momentum triggered by the two countries through the exchange of ministerial visits and consultations to reinforce friendship and cooperation ties between the two brotherly peoples.”
He added that El Othmani and his counterpart Mourad Medelci will examine bilateral relations as well as the ways and means of relaunching the Arab Maghreb Union. The spokesman said that regional and international questions of common interest will also be discussed.
