Macao – Moroccan driver Mehdi Bennani finished second in the independents competition of the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) and sixth in the professional category during the second race of the Macao Grand Prix, the final round of the Championship.
Driving BMW 320, Bennani took the sixth place posting (33m34.839s) in the race that was won by Britain’s Robert Huff (33m23.773s).
The only African driver who takes part in the international Touring Car championship took the second place in the inedependence category ending the season 16th among professionals and 7th among independents.
