Centrepiece Of World Poker Tour Stop In Morocco Begins Today
The World Poker Tour National Series Mazagan main event begins today at 2 p.m. (local time). The €1,500 + €150 buy-in no-limit hold’em championship sees two starting days with a victor crowned on Sunday, Jul. 15.
Players sit down today, day 1A, with 20,000 in starting chips and one-hour levels. Blinds begin at 50-100 with an ante from level 4.
Main event play begins at 2 p.m. daily at the Mazagan Beach Resort, El Jadida in Morocco.
This is a re-entry tournament with registration open until the start of level 7 (approximately 8.30 p.m.) on day 1B (Jul. 13). In addition to the €150 registration fee, 3 percent of the prize pool will be withheld by the casino.
