imageKasbah Tamadot, set at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains in Morocco and one of Sir Richard Branson’s privately owned retreats within the award-winning Virgin Limited Edition collection, has announced the recent appointment of a new General Manager – Vincent Padioleau and an Assistant General Manager – Kathryn White.

As General Manager, Vincent is responsible for the day to day management of Kasbah Tamadot. With 27 individually designed rooms and suites and with most staff employed from the nearby Berber villages, the hotel has a real feeling of staying in a Moroccan home.

Originally from Nantes and Vendée region in France, Vincent has gained invaluable industry experience over the last 20 years having worked at a number of hotels and resorts. After studying hotel management in Paris, Vincent started his career with Le Meridien Hotels and Resorts and is no stranger to the Virgin family having worked at La Residencia 12 years ago when it was part of Virgin Hotels then more recently working at Kasbah Tamadot as Deputy General Manager.

Kathryn has been part of the Virgin family for 7 years having worked at other Virgin Limited Edition properties with her most recent role at The Lodge in Verbier where she was Front of House Manager. Kathryn’s role is to assist Vincent in the day to day management of Kasbah Tamadot.

Jon Brown, Managing Director of Virgin Limited Edition commented: “We are extremely happy to welcome back Vincent and this time into the role of General Manager. Kathryn has been with us for some time and did a fantastic job at The Lodge and so we’re thrilled she’s accepted the role of Assistant General Manager at Kasbah Tamadot.

“We are confident that both Vincent and Kathryn will fit in very well with the rest of the team; they both have the passion, enthusiasm and understanding of the Virgin Limited Edition philosophy to ensure Kasbah Tamadot continues the tradition of warm Berber hospitality in the High Atlas Mountains.”
