UfM program for 10,000 female entrepreneurs In Jordan, Morocco, Palestine, Spain, kicking off in Barcelona

A new program to train and motivate 10,000 female university students in Jordan, Morocco, Palestine and Spain to become future entrepreneurs and job creators kicks off tomorrow Barcelona.

Called ‘Young Women as Job Creators’, the program is promoted by the Association of Organizations of Mediterranean Businesswomen (AFAEMME) with the approval of the 43-member Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), and will last from May-November 2013.

The idea is to bring Arab and Spanish women future entrepreneurs together, support innovative businesswomen and lay the basis for new business opportunities between the two shores of the Mediterranean, the UfM said in a note.

UfM Secretary General Fatallah Sijlmassi and AFAEMME President Maria Helena de Felipe Lathones will participate in tomorrow’s inaugural conference at UfM headquarters, among others.(ANSAmed).
