Two Draft Laws On Judicial Co-operation Between Tunisia And Morocco Passed

Two draft organic law on judicial co-operation between Tunisia and Morocco were passed, Tuesday.

The first draft law which was passed by 135 votes and one abstention, stipulates the ratification of the co-operation convention in the field of criminal extradition.

The convention provides the concerned person with the necessary guarantees regarding the arrest and transfer conditions and required documents for the extradition demand.

The second draft law which ratifies the co-operation agreement in criminal matters, was voted for by 136 deputies with one abstention. It aims at countering crime in general and take the necessary measures to fight international terrorism.

The agreement also provides for consolidating co-operation in issues of criminal nature.
