Tunisian Pres. Receives Moroccan Head Of Govt.

Tunis – Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki received, on Friday at the Carthage palace, Morocco’s head of government Abdelilah Benkirane, who is on a working visit to Tunisia.

The audience was attended by the delegation accompanying Benkirane, made up of National Education Minister Mohamed El Ouafa, Minister delegate for Economy, in charge of the budget Driss Azami Al Idrissi, and Morocco’s ambassador in Tunis Najib Zerouali Ouariti.

The head of the government and his Tunisian peer Hamadi Jebali chaired, on Thursday, a working session to examine means to boost bilateral cooperation and assess efforts made to give concrete substance to Maghreb integration.

The two parties agreed to hold the 17th session of the Moroccan-Tunisian joint committee on June 15 in Rabat.
