Belgian maintenance provider Tec4Jets has opened a line station at Menara International airport in Morocco.

The company is a subsidiary of leisure airline and tour operator group TUI Travel, and will provide line maintenance as well as aircraft-on-ground (AOG) support for current- and old-generation Boeing 737 aircraft at the site.

Until 2011, Tec4Jets supported only TUI’s Belgian and Dutch operations, Jetairfly and ArkeFly from its bases at Brussels’ Zaventem and Amsterdam Schiphol airports. Meantime, however, the services have been extended to other airlines outside the TUI group.

At Zaventem, the company is building a new hangar with space for up to three aircraft. Tec4Jets uses two hangars at the hub, where it provides light base maintenance up to B check level.
