Rabat – Morocco called, on Wednesday, on all Syrian parties to show wisdom and restraint and to engage in an inclusive dialogue.
“The Kingdom of Morocco calls on all the concerned parties to show wisdom and restraint and to engage in a deep and inclusive dialogue for sake of this brotherly country’s unity, stability and security,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Morocco has also expressed “strong worries” and “deep concern” over the painful events rocking Syria.
“The Kingdom of Morocco, which traditionally has a non-interference policy in internal affairs of other countries, expresses today its strong worries and deep concern over the painful events rocking Syria,” the same source said.
Morocco “voices sincere hopes that the brotherly Syrian people will find the concrete and credible way that meets their legitimate aspirations for democracy and their natural ambitions for progress away from all resorts to excessive violence or repression.”
