Featured ArtSpace artist for July is Marcos Oksenhendler. Born in Morocco, Marcos studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology where he now teachers. He is a board member of the Pocono Community Theater and Chairperson of the Visual Arts Committee. His work can be found in collections both locally and nationally and he is an active participant in the work of the Pocono Arts council.
Stroudsburg gallery features pair of painters Saturday

PoconoArts Cultural Center will host an opening reception for artists Marcos Oksenhendler and Sharon Cosgrove from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the center, 18 N. Seventh St., Stroudsburg.
Watercolorist Oksenhendler is the featured ArtSpace artist for September. He studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where he now teaches.
