Rabat – The national subsidy on flour stand at 2.3 billion dirhams annually, Minister delegate in charge of general affairs and governance, Mohamed Najib Boulif, said on Monday.
The government is set to maintain this subsidy in order to preserve the citizens’ purchasing power, Boulif told MPs in the Lower House.
He added that 46 billion dirhams have been earmarked to subsidies in the 2012 appropriation bill.
