Spring Break Service Trip to Africa

It won’t be your typical spring break vacation for some area students. A group from Lock Haven University will be traveling to Africa for service work. They are going on the service trip to provide medical care in Morocco. Students from the Clearfield campus met with advisors on Thursday to go over specifics before they leave for their trip on March 10th.Lock Haven University students from the Lock Haven and Clearfield campuses are getting ready to travel to Morocco in North Africa to take part in a service learning program. The students are all majoring in the medical field and will be providing free health care screenings. The students will be running the clinic every day teaching adults and children about nutrition, prenatal care and dental care.
