Spanish PM Receives Moroccan FM

Madrid – Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy received, on Friday in Madrid, Moroccan Foreign Minister Saad Dine El Otmani, who is on official visit to Spain.

The two sides highlighted the solid bilateral ties, as well as the importance of reinforcing bilateral cooperation relations in various fields.

El Otmani told MAP that “the discussions dealt with all economic, cultural and security issues relating to relations between Morocco and Spain.”

He said the two parties emphasized the need to promote their relations to the highest level for the benefit of both countries.

The meeting was attended by Spanish secretary of state to foreign affairs Gonzalo de Benito, Morocco’s ambassador to Spain Ahmadou Souilem, Spain’s ambassador to Rabat, Alberto Navarro, and managing director of bilateral relations at Morocco’s foreign ministry Nabil Dghoughi.
